A self-contained, battery-operated locating transmitter that emits a continuous 640 Hz signal detectable by compatible Radiodetection locators. It is designed to be inserted into a pipe, duct, or conduit on a push-rod; operators above ground can then trace the sonde’s path and determine its depth, making it useful for mapping non-metallic utilities and locating blockages or bends.
